Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. Wins 2017 Thirkield Award

Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. was honored on June 19, 2017 by the Franklin Area Chamber of Commerce with the 2017 Thirkield Award.

The Thirkield Award has been given since 1992 to a business or organization for renovation of a commercial or industrial property.   Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. was nominated for the work done to beautify and improve the grounds at our facility which began before we even moved and continues to this day.  The award reads as follows:

“Aviation Ground Equipment Corporation has turned neglected grounds into a lovely industrial property!  When they moved into a vacant Industrial Drive building, their first act was to begin clearing the overgrown grounds and to proudly fly an American flag over the property.  By clearing brush and dead trees, they brought a neglected lot back to life, and have continued to maintain and improve the property.  Thank you for being a community asset!”
